Big Interview

Big Interview is a web-based program that combines training and practice to build student confidence and interview skills. It also includes AI tools to help students maximize their resumes and interview techniques.
STUDENTS
Big Interview has the most advanced mock interview training tool, allowing users to practice nearly any type of job interview. You have access to hundreds of practice sets for different experience levels, industries, job roles, and competency areas. For help, you can watch tutorial videos for detailed advice in all aspects on interviewing.
Using AI, Big Interview provides immediate feedback on:
- Answer relevance
- Pace of speech
- Count of “ums” and filler words
- Vocabulary
- Power Words
- Pauses
When using Big interview, students should make sure they:
- Use a desktop or laptop, not a mobile device or tablet.
- Use a current version of Chrome or Firefox (Safari and Edge not recommended).
- Do not have background websites running and clear cookies and cache or open in an incognito window.

FACULTY & STAFF
Educators can design custom interview questions or use pre-made templates tailored to your learning outcomes. You can set specific parameters around criteria, due dates and shareability. You can easily review answers and offer commentary using a built-in scoring rubric or rely on AI tools for student feedback. Mizzou faculty and staff use Big Interview for:

Getting Started
Faculty and staff should first log into Big Interview using their Mizzou credentials. Then email Amanda Nell to request administrative access.
